A suburban mom's blog filled with random and irrelevant thoughts.
This has nothing to do with the first day, but some of the research I was scanning (http://www.economist.com/surveys/displayStory.cfm?story_id=6794156) said that the average number readers per blog is seven. The article points out that this is consistent with something called the Dunbar number, which is the upper limit (150) of the size of a group that humans (and other primates) can handle. So I think the number of readers you have is something the folks in Lake Woebegone would fine appropriate because it is "above average."
